Founder Story
Growing up in Hyderabad, food was never just a meal — it was an emotion.
Biryani was worth crossing the city for. Roadside chai after college, dosas on Sunday mornings, late-night Indo-Chinese with friends — these weren’t just dishes, they were memories in the making.
When our founder moved to Australia as an international student, he realised what he missed wasn’t simply Indian food. It was the feeling connected to it — the warmth, the ritual, the sense of belonging that comes with a shared meal.
Opening a restaurant wasn’t financially possible. So instead of waiting for the perfect opportunity, he challenged an assumption everyone told him was true:
"Why can't a food truck serve restaurant-quality Indian food?"
That single question became Hamara Gaadi. From day one, the goal was never quick takeaway — it was authentic biryanis, dosas, chaats and naans, made with the same quality and care people expect from a proper restaurant.

“Because a restaurant’s story is never complete, there is always something new and wonderful to discover. An evening spent at Benoit is like boarding a golden ship sailing through a Parisian night.”
